Forgiving fit at the middle

The gathering gave a forgiving, shaped fit. The shoulder line stayed put across my chest. I received compliments throughout the black-tie gala.

Easy movement and a nice detail

I didn't feel the one-shoulder style needed heavy jewelry. The gathered midsection was forgiving, and the fabric had enough give for me to move easily.

Good waist shaping

The neckline stayed flat and didn't shift. The ruching emphasized my waist, and I found moving around easy with the bit of give in the fabric.
